American Women Artists awarded my painting “Dawn” the Grand Prize in this year’s online exhibition. My sincere thanks to AWA, to the jurors Anne-Marie Russell, Katherine Wagner, Amy Galpin, and Barbara Tiffany for appreciating and honoring my vision, and to donor David Terrio for supporting the generous cash award. The prize also includes a month-long featured artwork on Fine Art Connoisseur and will be shown for a year on the AWA website. AWA was established in 1991 and is dedicated to providing professional opportunities for women in the visual fine arts.
