“Residual Light” Exhibition
The “Residual Light” Exhibition at Andra Norris Gallery brings together four artists whose work explores the lasting presence of light … where light becomes more than illumination. It becomes atmosphere, emotion, and a way of seeing.
Mimi Jensen’s paintings begin without a fixed destination. Working intuitively, she builds her compositions through color, gesture, texture, and light, allowing each painting to discover its own direction. Rather than describing a specific interior or landscape, her work evokes the experience of memory itself. Familiar forms emerge and dissolve, creating spaces that feel both personal and universal. Her paintings leave room for viewers to bring their own associations, making each encounter quietly unique.”
